Hunsfos Business Park was established on Hunsøya in Vennesla, at the site of the old Hunsfos Paper Factory, which shut down production in 2011. Since 2012, the old factory site has been gradually converted into new commercial premises, which house shops, offices , restaurants, entertainment rooms, breweries, etc. Up to the end of 2021, approximately 30,000 m² of the area had been converted, and around 85 different tenants were established there. There are major plans for further development of the business park, with a potential for further conversion and development of approximately 100,000 m². Hunsfos Business Park owns about 50% of Hunsøya, an island in the River Otra.
